Brigham and Farr West Pediatrics provides quality healthcare from infancy through adolescence and early adulthood. We provide preventive medicine including routine well child exams, immunizations, sport and scout physicals as well as acute and minor wound care. We also provide diagnosis and treatment for mental health disorders including depression, anxiety and ADHD.
In addition to the standard services mentioned above, we offer unique programs aimed at promoting holistic wellness. These programs include:
- Plant Based Nutrition – A Plant based diet focuses around plant food: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, healthy grains and the subsequent removal of animal products over time. Animal products include: meat, fish, butter, milk, cheese, eggs, gelatin, and other animal by-products.
- 5-4-3-2-1-Almost None – This wellness program was designed as an easy metric to measure your daily activity, diet, mental resilience, screen time, and sugar intake.
- Reach Out and Read – Reach Out and Read is a nonprofit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. The Reach Out and Read evidence-based program builds on the unique relationship between parents and medical providers to develop critical early reading skills in children, beginning in infancy. As recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Reach Out and Read incorporates early literacy into pediatric practice, equipping parents with tools and knowledge to ensure that their children are prepared to learn when they start school.
